Our prices do vary dependant on the model and level of complexity and these prices are meant as a guideline rather than the gospel truth. Plastics are generally less detailed than metals so the prices will be higher for metal models. The best thing to do is to mail with your requirements and we will contact you back with a more detailed quote.
We paint at a number of different levels depending on your requiements (see our gallery page for examples of each level):
Troops (infantry, cavalry, chariots, war machines) -
Level 1 (T1) includes a base coat of colour with little or no shadows and highlighting. You have a choice of primer colour: white, grey or black. This will effect the final look of the model as black will give a darker colour and adds some shadow whereas white will give bright colours but no shadows at all. The models will also be based and if required a single coat of matte varnish will be applied.
Level 2 (T2) is the only other level we offer for troops. This includes basecoating, shading and highlighting. Once again primer colour is up to you and we will also base and varnish the models if required.
Characters -
Level 1 (C1) is the most basic level for characters but is still far more detailed than the level attained for troop types. Includes shading, highlighting, basing and varnishing.
Level 2 (C2) is more advanced and verges on display quality. These models will be the pride of your force. This level uses more advanced layering techniques and the result is smoother blends and a more beautiful model. At this level you can expect 10 hours or more spent on the model.
Level (C3) is for display models and we only accept these on a time to time basis when our workload is less as they consume a lot of time and effort. Please contact us if you are interested. If we are unable to accomodate your wishes we can put you in touch with some very well established painters who will consider your project.
